Running sessions
Training sessions to improve your running are now available at my informal lunchtime running group.
The sessions start from the Delta Tennis Center in Swindon, where there are changing facilities and showers are available. The shower is paid for at the Tennis Center.
We warm up with a slow paced jog before we start the main session. The sessions use local footpaths and green areas to minimizing road crossings.
Each session covers one type of run (long and short intervals, hill repeats, Kenyan hills, running drills, fartlec, etc), the purpose of these is to build your running strength, stamia and speed by running at varying paces and intensities. The running drills help to improve technique and over time when incorporated into your running style will result in a more efficient running gait.
We finish off with some stretching back at the Delta Tennis Center.
The type of run will be emailed to the interested parties in advance of the session.
These sessions are for 30 minutes and these 30 minute sessions are £5.00.
